Astra North recruitment approached us wanting to create a new brand identity and logo design for them, feeling the old logo was a little dated and didn’t fit in with how the company had progressed over recent years it was time for a refresh creating a modern and vibrant brand that would make them strand out above local competitors.
Our approach to helping Astra North create a memorable brand initially was a huge brain storming session and idea generation looking at other recruitment agencies and seeing how we could create something to stand them above local competitors.
Creating various rough ideas and design styles looking at font and style variations, along with different colour pallets that could work for the brand.
Choosing the strongest design concepts for the logo design, we developed the clients favourite ideas working with the chosen fonts and colours to create 3 final logo designs to choose from, creating various mockups to visualise the logo in real life including business cards, social media graphics and various marketing material such as cups, pens and polo T-shirts until we had a clear winner from the clients view and they had no doubt which logo they had decided to go with.
With the logo finalised it was time to create the full brand identity and design the marketing material to accompany the new created logo that would stand them above competitors.
This was to include business cards for each staff member along with letterhead design and compliment slip, a wall calendar, social media graphics and a set of brand identity guidelines including colour pallets for digital and print designs, a set of fonts and rules for using the various logo variations ensuring the new branding and identity would stay consistent through out any future design and marketing material.
